Sueños Basketball is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan, non-profit organization that works toward solidifying the civic competency of our cities’ youth with basketball coaching and mentorship. Since we incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in August of 2015, we’ve worked to potentiate growth opportunities for the youth of low-income families. Creating workshops, endeavoring international excursions, and developing partnerships across sectors are only a few of our approaches to championing our community’s well-being.

The primary goal is to develop the kid's mindset through basketball by having an educational and sports program that helps them understand the importance of being young people of character and hardworking students.
To become part of the integral development of the upcoming generations of our region's residents and leaders. Reconstruct the social fabric of our constituency by promoting civic engagement within the families we serve.

“The dedication and the charity work of volunteers from Humanity organization are doing worldwide can’t be underestimated. We cooperated with them a year ago during a conflict in Syria, and their team members offered unprecedented assistance.”
- Richard Thompson
“This charity organization does what a lot of other charities should have been doing years ago. It is great that Humanity exists. Their volunteers not just give necessary resources and assistance, they give hope to all the needy out there.”
- Denis Nelson
My name is Ashlee Torres. I'm currently in Fourth Grade going to 5th Grade. I would like to share how Suenos has changed me in many ways. During my time in Suenos I've been able to make many friends which then become a part of my family. I’ve connected with my community by playing in different cities, engaging in summer activities, meeting the state representative, meeting the city mayor, meeting our city council, and meeting the governor of our state Maura Healey. Suenos has also encouraged me to continue working hard, staying focused in school, remaining humble and being my own person. In Suenos I’ve traveled to many places such as Connecticut to watch the WNBA and to the Dominican Republic to connect with my roots. Being a girl can sometimes be difficult when playing sports because of the stigma around girls not being good at sports. With Suenos I have been able to play in school, AAU, and other basketball activities. Through hard work and dedication during our basketball practices I’ve been able to win many medals and trophies. Coach Dilone and Jackie are always trying to find ways to support all their student athletes by showing them love and how to be a part of a community.

Suenos Basketball means family. Suenos Basketball has helped me be a better mom, friend, and better person. It has given me the opportunity to connect with my community leaders. I have learned how to support my children with school, advocate for their needs, and support them in achieving their goals. I am thankful to Suenos Basketball because my children are learning how important education is and how they need to continue striving for more in life. I’ve learned that basketball is an alleyway for my children to be off the streets and connecting with friends and community in a safe way. My family and I have been able to enjoy many activities, travel many places, and meet new people. Coach Dilone and Jackie are always there to support any family and friend in need. Suenos Basketball for Life!!!
